Flame Ionization Detector ComponentsWe manufacture our own OEM equivalent stainless steel igniter castles and collector bodies for all HP / Agilent GCs, except for one difference, they're gold plated. Chances are you've seen castles and collectors like these illustrated to the right, corroded, rusty...nothing you want in your detector. By definition, a hydrogen-fueled flame produces water. While the heat of the detector will deter most condensation, over time it all adds up; your baseline keeps climbing and before long you take apart your detector only to find you've rusted up! This is where the gold plating comes in, no exposed ferric surfaces, no rust. Problem solved! If any residue ever does collect, it is merely un-pyrolyzed eluate or column bleed and can easily be removed with a brush or solvent. Easy! We've used these for years on our service contracts. We love them and you will too! We also offer gold-plated electrometer springs and shell weldments for 5890, 6850 and 6890 series GCs. |

Inlet SealsIn addition to detector components, we also manufacture gold-plated inlet seals that are compatible with Agilent / HP GCs. Our seals employ a non-ferric body underneath the gold plating for easier, leak-free sealing without the use of polymeric compounds that could increase chances for active sites to form . We offer standard, single cut seals for users interested in direct OEM replacements, but we also offer a cross cut seal for higher split ratios and a hex cut seal allowing for even greater versatility with split flow ratios. We offer them singularly, in packs of 10, or as an assortment pack containing one of each style. All seals are cross-compatible with 5890, 6850, 6890, 7820 and 7890 GCs. |

In certain analyses, non-reactivity is crucial. With complete gold plating and ultra-cleaning procedures, our gold plated ion source parts offer an inert solution for your demanding analyses.
